Junior Commitments.

Juniors should participate in club activities whenever possible.

They will observe all club rules and etiquette, both on the course and in the clubhouse.

They will be proud ambassadors of Sutton Green Golf Club when visiting other clubs and hosting guests.

They may not remove anything that is SGGC property from the club premises.

Juniors are responsible for any damage they do. This includes hitting another person with a golf ball.

All juniors should submit a minimum of three competition cards each year. Failure to do this will result in the removal of the player's handicap and thus their eligibility to play in future competitions. They will then need to submit three new cards to regain a handicap.

If a junior fails to participate sufficiently in activities and competitions then they may be asked to leave the section in favour of players who are prepared to get involved.

Suspension can also be applied to any member whose conduct on the premises or elsewhere is contrary to the best interests of SGGC or its reputation. This can be followed by expulsion.

If a junior finds it difficult to respond to these demands but wishes to remain a member, it is important that they or their parents contact the Junior Organiser to explain their problem.
